I missed all the drama...
Apparently, Live Journal has been having problems, but truthfully, I was on deadline and missed it!

That's okay. I got done what I needed to and missed all the mess, so that works for me. I just came on to check my friends' posts and catch up on the news, then share mine with you.
I'm having surgery later this week - no fun - but I'll have a little time to catch up on reading, sleeping and watching the tube, so it's all good. Got to see the latest Pirates of the Caribbean, and it wasn't bad. Also rented The Lost Room, a Sci-Fi Channel miniseries and found in surprisingly good - so much so that I think I'll have to buy it.

Also, I'm working on collecting stories for an upcoming anthology due in 2008 - it's been kind of nice looking at the subs - really good ones - and finding out our cover artist is on board. Can't wait, although it's a lot of work, but definitely worth it.

Also working on the second novel in the series, and two anthology shorts of my own - so I've got plenty to keep my busy.
